IMPORTANT

– Shipping and billing addresses must be valid addresses.
– Your billing address must exactly match the location where your credit card bill is sent.
– For orders that contain multiple items, you may receive each item separately, on different dates.

Handling Time

Vendors specify the length of time it will take to prepare ordered items for shipping, that is, from the moment an item is purchased to the moment it’s put in the mail. This is known as the handling time. Depending on product type, this will vary between 3-5 business days for ready-to-wear and non-clothing items, and 5-10 business days for order-to-make items.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are determined by vendors in relation to the available couriers and shipping options in their locale or country of operation, and products weight and size.

Duties, Taxes and Fees

International shipping can mean that ordered items may be subject to duties or other fees a it enters your country of residence as a buyer. Buyers are responsible for any duties, taxes or import fees placed by the customs office of the recipient country (that is the country of the buyer).

Exclusions

Some countries and regions may be excluded for shipping. These will be specified by vendors in the product description.

Track Your Order

Once you have submitted your order, you will receive an order confirmation email to confirm that your order has been received. This email will contain your order ID, your billing and shipping details. You will need the order ID and billing email to track your order.

Free Shipping

From time to time, Afriket will offer FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on all online orders over a specified amount, after applied discounts and before taxes. The cost for shipping will automatically be deducted at checkout for all eligible orders.

Some orders may be eligible for free shipping. You will be notified if eligible.

Returns

Afriket observes returns in accordance with the returns policies outlined in the vendor’s terms and conditions. Returns are specified in the return policies of vendors.

To return item(s) purchased online, please contact the vendor and you will receive instructions on how to proceed. In most cases, customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges.

In cases where orders are shipped from African countries, customers will not be able to return or exchange items unless otherwise specified by the vendor in the vendor’s return policy.

Shipping costs of returns will be covered by customers unless otherwise stated in the vendor’s return policy.

In cases where the item received is wrong, doesn’t match the product description, is not authentic, is damaged or missing some parts, contact the vendor to reach a resolution. If no resolution is achieved reach out to the Afriket team (support@afriket.ca) with as much details as possible (including images of products and discussion with vendor) for assistance. The Afriket team will reach back within a threshold of 24-48 business hours.

Refunds

Where eligible for a refund, Afriket will refund the cost of items after associated charges are deducted. Funds will be credited to your original method of payment. Depending on your financial institution, it may take 7-10 business days to reflect in your bank account.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.
