How do fees work on Afriket?
Joining and starting a shop on Afriket is free. However, based on the categories of the product you wish to sell, Afriket will gain a commission once a product is sold. Find more about the fees on our Merchant Terms and Conditions page.
What do I need to do to create a shop?
It’s easy to set up a shop on Afriket. Create an Afriket account (if you don’t already have one), set your shop location, choose a shop name, create a listing, and start selling.
Why should I choose Afriket?
Aside no signup and setup fees, you’ll be provided with a store front which will enable you reach out to a wide range of shoppers with your products. You also get to focus on your business whiles we ensure your customers are fully satisfied.
How do I get paid?
We encourage all our sellers to have a business account, and not a personal account. All payments are directly deposited in your PayPal account after initiating a withdrawal at least 10 days after an order has been completed. This allows ample time for customers to receive the ordered items.
Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?
No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. For extra verification steps and setting up payments, a member of the Afriket team will be in touch with you.
